It has been awhile since posting here, but hopefully today will be quiet. In the past few weeks I have been busy preparing for our new Bible Study, "Living Free" by Beth Moore. It is an amazing follow-up study of "Breaking Free". I`m am really enjoying taking care of the girls, they have actually taken naps at my house which is a big thing since they love their own beds. Twins are so much fun and so different then having one. I love listening to them talk and play with each other and sometimes when I put them down for their nap, I stand at the door and listen to them. It`s amazing how well they seem to understand each other when I can hardly understand what they are telling me and have to look to Emma many times for her to interpret Sierra.
On Wednesdays I pick Layton up from school and we go to his favorite place, the toy section at Walgreen Pharmacy. We could be an advertisement for Walgreens. It takes him forever to pick out something, mainly because it has to be $5.00 or less and their toy supply is getting low. I think next time we will go to dollar tree, :-) Layton is really growing up. He actually will talk to people, of course that is when we aren`t around. I have to laugh when teachers or helpers tell me something he has told them, it just isn`t like him to talk to others, but believe me when I say he can talk to us non-stop. When we get to the house, he likes to play cards and used to get mad if I won, but he is better now. We always have to stop at McDonalds for a happy meal on our way back to town to meet his mom. He gives me instructions everytime I order, 'Grandmom, you know I want ,a Happy Meal, right,' 'yes Layton,' and with whatever drink is his fav for the evening, 'and don`t forget to say,' "a toy for a boy." "Ok Grandmom", "Ok Layton".
Check back for some pictures tomorrow.

Kids
I got this in an email today and thought it was cute
If you have persistently and lovingly
tried to give your children wisdom
and they haven't taken it,
don't be too hard on yourself.
If God had trouble raising children,
what makes you think it would
be a piece of cake for you ?
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT !
1. You spend the first two years of their life
teaching them to walk and talk.
Then you spend the next sixteen
telling them to sit down and shut up.
2. Grandchildren are God's reward
for not killing your own children.
3. Mothers of teens now know why
some animals eat their young.
4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact,
they usually repeat word for word
what you shouldn't have said
5. The main purpose of holding
children's parties is to
remind yourself that
there are children more
awful than your own
6. We childproofed our homes,
but they are still getting in.

Goals for 2008
I had to laugh as I started to jot down a few things that I wanted to do in 2008, because I thought, “I really need to complete the goals from 2003, 4,5,6 and 7first". Such as:
· Start exercising……….That lasted about a month
· Eat less ice cream……..I actually eat more
· Organize………I still have all the stuff I bought so I`ll do it this year:-).
· Read my bible, (every word) completely through………I just cannot get past Numbers.
· Stop spending so much……..Just thinking about this made me depressed.
· Clip coupons……..Now this I did, I just forgot to take them with me to the store. :-\
· Clean my attic……..I decided I`d let the kids do it when I die, that`s what my mom did and who sees it anyway, right?
· Drink less coffee…….You know, I hate to use the word addicted, but I think I am “that word” to coffee and if you check the health reports, sometimes it`s good for you depending on the week of course.
· Keep my car clean…….That was a dumb goal, if I wait long enough my husband cleans it
· Keep up with old friends that have moved away…….Now, I did email some of them, but if they don`t have email, well, I hate to say it…….ok, ok, I`m feeling guilty about this one.
· Stay on a cleaning schedule…….OMGosh this is a hoot,
But you know what, in 2007 I did:
· Meet some amazing women through the LFMinistry.
· Learn a lot through the study of God`s word.
· Make new friends.
· Spend quality time with my grandkids.
· Break free from some strongholds.
· Discover that my kids can take over when I am falling apart.
· Learn that I passed on my ability to get lost when driving to my daughters.
· Discover that God is faithful through trials.
· Discover that the women in my bible study group are such a blessing.
· Discover a whole new world while traveling out west.
I also discovered that God has an unfailing love for me that just overwhelms me at times.
